This document was created at WRT with the contribution of a diverse and talented team. I had the opportunity to land a community design vision which might unlock the potential that this dynamic landscape might have on the 1 million residents of greater Fresno.
Succession of a Suburban Landscape
Despite a changing suburb, a landscape remains stagnant, caught in an era when automobile was king. Technology has challenged the role of brick-and-mortar retail. The evolution of transportation have reduced the necessity for abundant parking surfaces. Upon inception, these malls were a staple in the community, upon abandonment they become a disease. This thesis is part of my 2017 Masters of Landscape Architecture Professional Project from the University of California – Berkeley
